The green highlighted drivers are the Northwest boys and Cyrus Martinez who is SoCal but did come up and and beat us at our own track.
It’s cool to note that there is only 1 re-license driver in the field. The rest are new grassroots guys gunning for pro glory.
With 22 drivers qualifying for a top 16 bracket it’s anyone’s game. Stay tuned for more coverage as the Evergreen Drift team heads down to Irwindale for the action.

Show up at Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, CA on November 21st and support your buddies as the best amateur drifters from around the US and Canada do final battle to earn a Formula Drift Pro license.
The Northwest has made a strong showing between the Vegas and Seattle rounds and the following local drivers have qualified:

Formula DRIFT Announces Schedule Change for the Pro Am National Championship;
Event will now be held on November 21 at the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale
Long Beach, Calif. – October 1, 2009 – Formula DRIFT has announced a schedule and venue change for the 2009 Pro Am National Championship. The event will now take place on November 21 at the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale.
The top amateur drivers from the United States and Canada will meet at the infamous “House of Drift,” at the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale. This will be the first time that a Pro Am competition of this level will take place at this location. The rising stars of drifting will be discovered and compete for their chance to earn a Formula DRIFT Pro Championship license. Current professional drivers that made their way up through the Pro Am circuit include Justin Pawlak, Ryan Tuerck, Joon Maeng, and Matt Powers.
“Bringing the FD Pro Am National Championship to Irwindale is not only very cool, but very symbolic as well,” said Jim Liaw, president and co-founder of Formula DRIFT. “Never has a Pro Am competition of this magnitude and importance been held at Irwindale before. And to top it off Irwindale is the birthplace of American professional drifting, back in 2003 when Ryan and I brought D1 outside of Japan for the first time.”
Tickets for the Pro Am National Championship will go on sale on October 17, the same day as Round 7: Judgment Day the final event of the 6th season of the Formula DRIFT Pro Championship. Online tickets can be purchased on the Formula DRIFT website. For more information, visit: www.formuladrift.com.

Round 4 was sweet. Thanks to everybody who helped make it happen, and congratulations to peter, nikolay and chris, the 1-2-3- finishers from the day.
ALSO congratulations to peter, victor, and t-strom for finishing out the season like true champs. it was a good one, and we’re all hyped for next year.
this is where i would normally post photos, but NOBODY has put up ANY media from this event EXCEPT photo finish, whose flash site does not facilitate linking.

Coming straight off of Round 3 get ready for open drift this Friday 8/21.
Drivers // Beg or borrow some tires and come out for some Friday night action. Open drift events have been crazy with tons of run time (20+ runs at the last event). Open drift events all about fun with 6 car tandems and 5/8ths action! Kick off work early and start the weekend right!
Fans // Spend Friday night with us and watch the Northwest’s finest drifters put on the best showcase of local talent in the Northwest. UPDATE! The owner went crazy and there is free grandstands admission this Friday. If you haven’t been out yet check us out!
