Are you a motorsports photographer or media outlet that wants to cover our events?

Here are the media requirements and processes to come shoot an Evergreen Drift event.

Media Rules and Requirements:

  • All requests for on course Media access must be made to the Chief of Media and pre-register for each event. Please contact Earl Smith at (425) 239-2847, or runningprojects@yahoo.com, and provide a link to your online portfolio.
  • Only individuals who have been approved by the chief of media and received the perquisite media safety briefing will be allowed to photograph in any designated hot zone during the event.
  • Media must shoot only from reasonable and safe positions and you are encouraged to err on the side of caution. Photographers are strongly encouraged to bring their own spotter whose only job is to watch the photographers back and warn of danger while shooting in proximity to moving vehicles. The instructions of the flaggers and officials must be followed at all times and failure to comply with a safety related request from an official will result in lost of media privileges.
  • Media must not delay on course action by attempting to move locations while the track is hot. Generally, the only time media is allowed to move positions is during run group changeovers. Media must coordinate with course workers and get approval from the chief steward prior to changing locations
  • All media (especially if comped into the event) must post photos and videos online in a timely manner after the event and designate and tag as an “Evergreen Drift” event. The photographers agrees to allow Evergreen Drift used their photos or videos posted on the internet free of charge for promotional usage on the Evergreen Drift website with proper photo credit given.
  • Agree to not publish any media that shows participant actions prohibited by Evergreen Drift rules (example: hands out the window).
  • Media with profanity or family unfriendly content will not be posted on EvergreenDrift.com. Evergreen Drift will not grant media comps to press that publishes content of Evergreen Drift events that violates acceptable content guidelines.
  • Any camera equipment attached to a car (internal or external) must have a secondary retaining strap that will restrain the camera if the primary mount fails.
  • Failure to comply with media rules will result in loss of media privileges.

Evergreen Drift appreciates your effort and looks forward to the exciting content we’ve come to enjoy from our media partners.
